Brooke grew up in Orcutt, Ca next to a dairy farm, where she began riding horses at five years old, developed a lifelong love for animals and the outdoors. Later, in Orange County, she balanced that passion with coastal living.

Ashley grew up in Orange County, Ca but spent most of her time at the barn developing a passion for horses and animal care. She later worked on a ranch in southern Utah, where she gained hands-on experience with horsemanship and caring for a variety of animals while learning responsibility and resilience.

She later worked on a ranch in southern Utah, where she gained hands-on experience with horsemanship and caring for a variety of animals while learning responsibility and resilience.
Ashley earned a degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Equine Science from Utah State University, served as Captain of the IHSA Equestrian Team, and taught horsemanship classes.
As a ranch counselor and mom, she is passionate about helping girls build confidence, learn new skills, and discover their strength through working with animals and and riding.

They’ll also get a unique look at how horses are cared for with a veterinary clinic tour and a farrier demonstration, and visit Horse Haven, a remarkable area of the sanctuary run almost entirely by women. This educational and inspiring experience will wrap up in the afternoon. At Sunny Trailblazers, girls don’t just explore the ranch—they grow, learn, and discover their potential. A visit to the animal sanctuary gives them the chance to see women veterinarians and animal care experts in action, modeling leadership, purpose, and community impact. Experiencing this hands-on connection with animals and mentors strengthens empathy, problem-solving, and confidence, while promoting healthy brain development through curiosity, responsibility, and meaningful social interaction. All meals are farm-to-table and prepared by a private chef from Zion Mountain Ranch. Fresh, wholesome ingredients are used to create nourishing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners that reflect true ranch living.
